Exclusivity
We review the location of every retailer on an individual basis and use our discretion.
As a rule of thumb, we consider a 15 minute drive between retailers to be a suitable distance outside of cities, and a 15 minute walk to be appropriate in cities.
However, we may consider stocking two closer retailers if the orders are sufficiently different (for example, if the retailers will be ordering different product ranges as set out below)
Our product ranges are divided between two categories:
- main range plus dishcloths; and
- kids plus dishcloths.
Any exclusivity granted is subject to the retailer maintaining a frequency of ordering at least once each and every season. You are required to submit your order - or indicate your intention - no later than 3 weeks after we launch a new season to maintain that exclusivity.
Our seasons are:
- Spring Summer (launches January) and
- Autumn Winter (launches September)
Our MOQ is £200
You must spend £200 on each category to maintain exclusivity across BOTH categories.
- main range plus dishcloths
- kids plus dishcloths
For example, if you spend £400 on cushions, but £150 on the kids range, you do not automatically have exclusivity on the kids range too.
We believe this to be a fair, common sense approach to exclusivity, and a policy that also allows our small business to grow, thrive, and ultimately supply our retailers with greater choice, at competitive prices.
Exclusivity is determined by us in our discretion, and while we attempt to accommodate retailers’ requests in this regard, any decision we make on exclusivity is final and binding.
