Our story so far
Sophie Home began with a simple idea: that bold colour and thoughtful design can transform a space - and make us smile.
After graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Textiles, Sophie spent ten years working as a mens underwear designer, gathering - as it turned out - all the information she would need to launch her own product business in 2013.
Her distinct sense of colour is knitted and woven into every product she designs, brought to life by manufacturing partners with shared values and commitment to best-practice.
We're so proud that the brand now sits in homes all over the world, and can be shopped globally. It has featured in several magazines and newspapers, and, with every new product and idea, it continues to grow!

Our values
Our Suppliers
Our manufacturers bring our ideas to life; it is crucial that we are working with the right people and we are immensely proud of the partnerships we have nurtured over the past 13 years. We meet all our suppliers in person before we work with them and choose to partner only with suppliers who share our sense of social and economic responsibility.
We pay fair prices to all our suppliers.
Our Credentials
All our cotton knit products are made from 100% Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified cotton. Our toys are filled with a market-leading biodegradable filling. The very nature of knit and weave means we generate little waste. Every nursery toy and accessory is UKCA & CE tested, and our packaging and marketing materials are recyclable or biodegradable. We also import by sea to keep our footprint lower.
Our Purpose
Kindness is at the heart of Sophie Home. We care for our suppliers and customers, building genuine relationships with our stockists and retail customers alike. We focus on good design and great quality, and donate 5% of our annual profits to Choose Love, supporting refugees and displaced people in their greatest time of need.
Our Commitments
We’re always working to improve, whether it’s sourcing better materials, upgrading eco-credentials, refining packaging, or considering the stories we share. Our promise remains the same: to deliver thoughtful design and quality products.
