Our story so far

Sophie Home began in the corner of my sitting room in 2013 with just seven throws, seven cushion covers, and four shower curtains. Today, our designs are stocked in over 500 independent shops worldwide — and we’re proud to donate 5% of our annual profits to Choose Love.

We’re still growing, with plenty of new ideas in the pipeline. Since day one, we’ve worked with an incredible manufacturer in India, and we’re endlessly grateful to the amazing team of women there who bring our designs to life.

Now known as the home of cotton knit colour, we stay true to our core value of kindness while working hard to spread joy, comfort, and colour. We’re so happy you’re here.

Our Suppliers

We’ve worked with the same manufacturer since day one. Over the years, they’ve helped us grow and become friends as well as colleagues. With their strong sense of social and economic responsibility, we’re proud to partner with them. We pay fair prices to our suppliers, and in turn, set the fairest prices we can for you.

Our Credentials

All our cotton knit products are made from 100% Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified cotton and azo-free dyes. Our toys (and now our cushions) are filled with a market-leading biodegradable filling. The very nature of knit and weave means we generate little waste. Every nursery toy and accessory is UKCA & CE tested, and our packaging and marketing materials are recyclable or biodegradable. We also import by sea to keep our footprint lower.

Kindness is at the heart of Sophie Home. We care for our suppliers and customers, building genuine relationships with our stockists and retail customers alike. We focus on good design, great quality, and fair prices - while donating 5% of our annual profits to Choose Love, supporting refugees and displaced people in their greatest time of need.
